Piano Moving Services
To begin, we check the piano for any damage and take pictures. After the inspection we will use thick moving blankets that will provide security for even the most delicate of pianos. We will use plenty of blankets to take care of your asset. Our #1 priority is the safety of our team and delivering the piano without a scratch.
Sizes and Types of Pianos
Vertical pianos are classified by a combination of piano styling, size, heigh, and position of action. The upright grand/cabinet piano has a heigh of 52’ – 60’ and is the heaviest of all pianos, some exceeding 800 pounds.
The full-size upright piano is 48’ – 52’ and contains a full size extended direct blow action. No matter the size of your vertical styled piano, our team can help you move it efficiently, taking the stress and strain off your back and shoulders!
Unlike vertical pianos, grand pianos are different in the piano length. A baby grand pianoe usually runs about 4’6” – 5’6”, a medium sized grand piano 5’6” – 6’6”, and a large grand piano about 6’6” – 7’6”, with a concert grand piano being over 7’6”.
Despite the varying sizes, the moving process is pretty much the same. Take all necessary precautions and actions to ensure the safety of the piano asset to its new destination.
